I'm Ernest Chan, a Instructional Designer who specializes in build awesome digital learning content and website for higher education and corporates.

Learning instructional design and e-learning development is a daunting and frustrating experience.

Instructional designers face a variety of challenges and constantly wear multiple hats in our jobs. Our jobs includes meeting clients, project management, creating storyboard, el-earning course development, video editing, web design, technical writing and so on.

I am one of the accidental instructional designer in this industry. I started out in my career as a Web Graphic Designer in the early 2000. In 2010, I joined a e-learning agency as a Multimedia Designer building e-learning courses, websites and marketing materials. This is my first time I learned ADDIE model, SCORM/AICC, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate and front end coding.

I would like to share my journey learning the technical aspects of Instructional design world.
